Rapunzel rapunzel...wax off that hair!!!

Why does every girl hate her hair? The only girl I have ever met who actually liked hers was this strange creature at my school who had major issues...anorexia and self-harming being 2 of them... but besides her, most females want what they dont have.
I think I have reason to grumble about mine... and thats not just the hair on the top of my head, because I seem to have been blessed with an ample supply of it all over the place. The continual struggle of getting rid of the results of my over-producing follicles, is an expensive and painful one.

A short while ago, I spent a total of R1460 in one weekend...all on HAIR!!! Firstly I sat in a hairdressers for 4 hours having my hair chemically straightened (wouldnt recommend it...it hasnt worked the greatest and I still have to go through the total shlep of using my straightners!)... then I went to my lazer clinic for my second bout of underarm lazer treatment (of which I will need about 6 of and then I shall never have to shave under my arms again yaaaayyy!!) and then I went to my usual beautician...for my leg wax, and then off to a separate one for... a brazillian wax (Im sure most of us know what these are by now?!)
The reason I go to separate beauticians for the waxes, is because I feel too blind going to my usual lady, who I am only used to seeing my pins. I know her well now, and I can suddenly expose myself to her!!
So I go to another place... but believe me, it is slightly a nerve wracking experience baring it all to some stranger who is about to inflict some major pain on you... I have only braved having it done 3 times, and I don't know if this has anything to do with me, but every time I call to book an appointment, the girl who did it the last time, has left for England for the next 2 years!! then I have to go through the awkward process again of having someone totally new!!

Maybe with all this waxing and tweezing and lazer-ing that we women have to put ourselves through, one day humans will be born hair-less, because I dont see the day that it would be acceptable for girls to go around with hairy armpits and unplucked eyebrows!!
